If you do not book a table locally, you will need to drive into Oban, where you are likely to be able to walk into a restaurant without a booking - unless it is the height of the season (June, July, August).
Guests may cancel free of charge until 14 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel in the 14 days before arrival.
In the unlikely event that we have to cancel the reservation due to circumstances beyond our control we will refund any deposits paid. No further financial claims will be considered.
In making a booking with us, you agree to accept our T&Cs.
The T&Cs below apply to all bookings whether made online through our website or made by email, telephone or in person.
By placing a booking with us, you and your party(guests) agree to the following T&Cs as set out. If you have questions please contact us before making a booking.
To place a booking with us the lead guest must be at least 18 years of age. Only the lead guest and the named booking party are allowed to use the property and its facilities.
By placing this booking, confirms that this contract is between you, your party, and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms. Please read the following terms and conditions and contact us if there is anything you need to discuss with us.
The client agrees:
Adeposits of 25% is taken at the time of booking.
The balance will be taken one day prior to arrival.
CHECK-IN is STRICTLY BETWEEN the hours of 5.00pm and 7.00pm, unless a prior arrangement has been agreed. Please contact us to discuss arrival times not within the specified times.
We reserve the right to terminate the visit of any person whose conduct is detrimental to the comfort of others.
LIABILITY
No liability shall be accepted by us for loss damage or theft of personal property, belonging to guests, either in the property or in or to cars, bicycles or other vehicles left on the property. Nor shall liability be accepted by the owners for accident or injury to guests, either within the property or outside in the grounds.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Please ensure that you have your own travel insurance as we do not provide this.
CHILDREN
The B & B is not suitable for children under 10 years.
PETS
We welcome SMALL, CLEAN, QUIET dogs with their own beds. Guests usually place the dog bed in the en suite and that minimises cleaning. Please DO NOT ALLOW dogs onto the bed or the chairs in your room. We are able to tell!
If you wish to bring a pet, please call us on 01852 300 513to discuss. We will wish to talk about your dog's temperament, age, and level of obedience. Please ensure that your dog is leashed at all times whilst at Garragh Mhor.
Please note - dogs are not allowed in the dining room, so your pet will need to remain either quietly in your room or be placed in your vehicle during breakfast service. If there is any separation anxiety, please bear this in mind. We aim to make this as comfortable as possible for your pet, you, and our other guests. Whining or excessive barking will result in you being asked to place your pet in your vehicle.
NO PUPPIES (i.e. dogs under 18 months old).
DAMAGES / THEFT
Please treat the accommodation and facilities with due care so that other guests may continue to enjoy them. In the event that you notice damage in your accommodation please let us know immediately so that we can take appropriate action.
We reserve the right to charge the lead guest for any damages caused through the course of a booking by any member of the booking party.This includes breakages, spillages, damages to furniture or fixtures and fittings. Any accidental damages should be reported as soon as possible in order to minimise damage and associated costs.
Lost keys, fobs and access cards will incur a replacement charge of £15 per item.
In making a booking, you accept responsibility for any breakage or damage caused by you or anymember of your party and agree to indemnify us in full for any loss that we may incur as a result.
Theft of any fixtures or fittings from the property will result in your card being charged for replacement of the item.
